Agency Announcements:

Cherylanda Trice announced that the Crisis Nursery annual Holiday Shop will begin November 29th and continue for 4 weeks.

She also informed us about a support group for parinatal post partum parents.  The support group meets on Tuesday mornings. For more information call 337-2731

Mary-alayne Hughes announced that the Stay N Play is looking for participants.  For more information contact Sung Yoon Lee at 333-0260.

Old Business:

The council discussed the lack of volunteers for the professional/parent co-chair positions.  Felicia Gooler agreed to remain the profession co-chair for the remainder of this year.  DSCC representative has a parent in mind and will report back.

The council went through the attendance sheet and eliminated names that were no longer in their position or in the area.

Next meeting

The next meeting is scheduled for January 27, 2009 from 8:30-9:30 at Mental Health of Champaign County at 1801 Fox Dr.
